Karen Brown was named as director of the Oakland Ballet Company and that event coincided with the completion of this piece of work and Casaj Gallery held for her a gala event and this was unveiled at that time.  The ARTSHIP Foundation where I am a member of the board also held a fundraiser aboard the ship of the same name for the Ballet and as such this pointiflet (the name had not been coined at that time) piece had the distinct honor of reigning at two majestic events in a place of especial honor of the dancing arts.  To be honest the honor was all mine.  Thanks KB!
